  • The Australian Climate Council. This was the Climate Commission, before it was abruptly terminated by the Abbott government in 2013, but it was then resurrected as the Climate Council, by public donations.
  • SolarAid and its work in Malawi, Tanzania, Botswana and Kenya, by providing sustainable access to clean affordable solar lighting, and replacing the use of expensive, unhealthy and inefficient kerosine lamps
  • Solar Citizens in Australia, to “Protect the rights of millions of Australians with solar to cut bills, create clean power and take energy generation back into our own hands.”
  • 350.org ” is building a global climate movement. Our online campaigns, grassroots organizing, and mass public actions are coordinated by a global network active in over 188 countries”

Education for all, via

  • Schools Plus, in Australia. Focusing on disadvantaged state schools in rural and urban Australia, including my own State Government primary school in northern Victoria.

Hospices, in UK


  • Donation of a collection of early 20th century postcards describing missionary activities in Africa, Asia and the Americas. Plus an Enclopedia of Missions (1904), to the Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology in Cambridge
